Adaptions are provided on an individual basis for each athlete to be successful and have included providing a sign language interpreter, wheelchair accessible activities and sensory sensitive awareness for those who have autism. We want to meet each child’s individual need to feel successful in playing tennis. The kick-off event was led by the Jensen-Schmidt Foundation in February 2016 with training and clinics. Since then we have hosted two 4-week sessions a year and a fabulous day camp led by the Bryan Brothers in September 2017 with 20+ attendees.

The 2019 goals are to have 2 3-week sessions and a 4-day summer camp. In the future, we would like to add another 3-week session and a parent nights out/respite program every other month. Accomplishments- We have taught over 50 players with most of them returning to at least one session or camp a year. One of our little girls even participates in weekly junior drills. Our players have a love for the game and activities that keep them healthy. Our parents have developed much-needed friendships with other parents and our youth volunteers have gained a desire for serving others. Awards include Oklahoma and Missouri Valley Outstanding Diversity and Inclusion.
