Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park // Expansion 2025
Since 1970, LaFortune Park has provided affordable, accessible tennis for all ages and skill levels. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, major upgrades began in 2007, culminating in 2015 with the Case Tennis Center—Oklahoma’s first privately funded public indoor tennis facility.
Now, we need your help to complete the new expansion with essential amenities like furniture, updated I.T., and continued court maintenance. Your support will keep our community’s tennis legacy thriving for years to come!
-
1970-2007
In 1958 J.A. LaFortune donated what is now LaFortune park to Tulsa County. Tennis was introduced to the park in 1970 with 6 outdoor tennis courts.
-
2007-2015
Rapid growth of tennis at LaFortune began in 2007 with the addition of 9 more outdoor courts. Programming was added and tennis boomed at the park.
-
2015-2024
3 air-conditioned Indoor courts and a full pro-shop were added in 2015. Since this addition the facility has seen unprecedented growth - emphasizing the need for additional indoor space.

OPENING MID-APRIL
Coming Soon!
We’re excited to share that our three new indoor courts are almost ready to open! However, we’re not quite there yet. We need your help to cross the finish line and make this vision a reality.

Tennis for Everyone
Tennis is a lifelong sport with amazing benefits—physical, social, and emotional. We’re dedicated to making it accessible to everyone, especially kids, families in need, people with disabilities, and marginalized groups. Thanks to our generous community, we provide racquets, shoes, lessons, and camp scholarships to any child who wants to play but can’t afford it. If a kid wants to play tennis, we make it happen.

Every day, we see and feel the difference our programs make. But we’re not done yet. Right now, we don’t have enough space to meet all of our community’s needs. That’s about to change. Our new indoor, climate-controlled courts will allow us to offer year-round play for key programs, including:
- League of Exceptional Players (Special needs)
- Youth at Heart (NJTL)
- ADA Handicapped Play (Adults and Juniors)
- Junior Programs and Camps
- Tulsa Public Schools partnerships
Now, it's your serve...
Building on the strong foundation of our past achievements, this campaign will ensure the continued growth of the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park. While the expansion has provided us with additional space, we must further our development to meet the growing needs of the community. Our mission is to keep tennis at LaFortune Park accessible to all, without the barrier of membership fees. However, sustaining this vision requires ongoing support from dedicated partners like you.
We cannot achieve these goals alone. Your involvement is essential in helping us realize our vision for a thriving, inclusive tennis community. By supporting this initiative, you are not just investing in the future of our facility—you are empowering families and children to access the opportunities they deserve. Together, we can make this vision a reality for everyone in our community.
